Every box on every tax form, as data.
Upload W-2s, 1099s, 1098s and K-1s as PDFs, scans or phone photos. SchemaTax identifies each form, reads every box, checks the math, and hands you JSON, CSV or Excel.

Twenty 1099s in. One spreadsheet out.
Drop a folder of mixed forms, from mixed sources, in mixed file types. SchemaTax sorts them, reads them, and lines them up in one sheet with a total you can trust.

Built around the forms you actually get.
Each form has its own schema with named, typed fields, so the output for a 1099-B from one broker looks exactly like the output from another.

From paper to checked data in five steps.
Step 1
Identify
Each page is classified by form type and tax year, even when a scan mixes several forms in one PDF.
Step 2
Extract
Every box is read into a typed field with a fixed name, so Box 1 on a W-2 is always wages.
Step 3
Validate
Totals are recomputed, rates are checked, and TINs are tested against their patterns.
Step 4
Review
Anything uncertain is flagged on an editable view of the form. Fix it in place.
Step 5
Export
Download JSON, CSV or Excel, or pull results from the API.
We read tax forms. We don’t do your taxes.
SchemaTax isn’t tax software and won’t ask you about your dependents. It does one job: get the numbers off the paper accurately, with every value traceable to the box it came from.
That makes it a good fit next to whatever you already use, whether that’s a spreadsheet, your preparer, or your own app.
Your Social Security number is the first thing we hide.
- Masked at extraction
- SSNs and TINs are masked to the last four digits before anything is written to storage.
- Encrypted everywhere
- Files and results are encrypted in transit and at rest.
- You set the retention
- Delete originals right after export, after 30 days, or on your own schedule.
- Never used for training
- Your documents are processed for you and nobody else.

Questions
Does SchemaTax prepare or file my return?
No. SchemaTax gets the numbers off your forms and into a format you can use. You, your preparer, or your tax software do the rest.
What if the scan is crooked or the photo is blurry?
Pages are straightened before they’re read. Boxes the model isn’t sure about are flagged for you to confirm instead of being guessed.
Can I use it from my own software?
Yes. The API takes a file and returns the same typed JSON you see on this page, billed per page.
